Weed or Not?

Dandelions are considered weeds by most people today. History indicates that dandelions have been used for medicinal purposes as far back as ancient Egyptian times. There are indications that dandelions were purposely brought to America with the Pilgrams.

Today people spend much time and money to get rid of the dreaded weed, in order to have a beautiful lawn. When in fact the dandelion is actually good for a lawn. They help to aerate the soil. The root of the dandelion is very hardy. They also help prevent erosion

This weed also contains more nutrition than most of the vegetables we do plant.

The medicinal uses of the dandelion are very impressive. Actually, head to toe, since it helps with bone health.
