ACV -The Cleanser

The cold and flu season is upon us again. Usually about every three to five years it will get me, so no I am not one to go get a shot. Even when it happens it usually runs its course and is over for another few years.

This season it seemed to be all over the place. I say that knowing what your body needs is a big part of staying healthy. Sometimes that is much easier said than done.

While my husband was right there for me asking what he could do or get for me, I didn’t know.

When my head finally cleared enough to think a bit, I started thumbing through a few of my books and notes. I came across “The Apple Cider Vinegar Miracle” from Alternative Daily.

As I thumbed through it, I recalled using ACV as a dietary cleanse many years ago and felt kind of silly for not thinking of it sooner. While my stomach issues were over, I did still need it. ACV can also be used to cleanse your sinus’ and so much more.

The history of ACV being used for multiple purposes can be traced back to 5000 BC. Hippocrates (the father of modern medicine) in 400 BC, prescribed ACV with a little honey for many ailments.

Just a couple of Tbsp. of ACV and a little honey in 8oz of water, before each meal will help your bodies Ph rebalance. It is hard to swallow, because it doesn’t smell very good. Yes, there are vinegar pills, but it won’t give quite the same results. As with anything in the processing things are lost and compromised.

As a sinus cleanser, just put a bit of ACV and water in a pot and boil. When the steam starts inhale it deeply. You will feel it working.

If are an all-in kind of DIY person you can make your own. But, for the cost and time, getting it at the grocery store is better for me
